British Acadian was originally organized to provide British oil and gas companies with opportunities for participating in energy related projects in the Gulf Coast Area of the southern United States.  For the past twenty odd years, British Acadian has provided for and participated in the acquisition of oil and gas ventures in the United States,  which have yielded significant proven oil and gas reserves for those participating.  All of the acquisitions included future development and exploration opportunities, some of which have been realized; others remain for future exploitation.
